Hello fair travellers!

I haven't visited this great blog for a while, since I was in Australia in fact.

The time has come to raise sail again. I'm in the south of France and I'm just looking for like minded ppl willing to help a stranded traveller.

I was hoping to make it to Australia or New Zeeland this year or the beginning of the next one.

Since this is an introduction I should proceed with it : I'm 29, male, of mixt origin (romanian/french-canadian). In good health and spirit , non smoker and almost non-drinker.

I have an RYA competent crew cert. obtained in Austalia (in Ballina NSW on a 40" named Iron Bark). Unfortunately, I wasn't able to pursue that further so now I'm looking to work for passage towards Australia or New Zeeland. I'm a techie by trade and a chef by vocation. I have no problems with mechanical components (engine, a bit of electrics etc).

If it helps I also speak french, italian, spanish and romanian.

And ... BTW you can call me Raz. All my friends do it and since this is a friendly crew you can do the same.

Peace,

Raz out

Welcome aboard Raz - enjoy your stay.

I would suggest that you post the above to the "Crew Looking for Positions" board.

Good luck - let us know how things are going.

Was that the Iron Bark which sailed to the Antarctic? Were you on board then? If so, please tell us more of that trip.

Aye

Stephen
