Default Wairoa, Gateway to the Galaxy. DAFUQ?
So as some of you may already know, a couple of years ago I bought an old shack in an obscure NZ town as part of my retirement plan.

Yesterday I discovered that they're about to become a launch site for commercial satellites. Well there goes the neighborhood ...

Who knows, it may actually improve the property values.

It's probably a good thing actually. Maybe some compunerdygeek types moving into the 'hood, which would suit me.
