I've used steaming techniques rather than pressure cooking. I was told the bread must reach a high temp which can damage a pressure cooker seals so they have to be removed. Yet I have heard of several people making pressure cooker bread. My steaming techniques came when we lived in Japan w/o an oven for 2 years and no stores to buy my favorite kinds of breads.

David's favorite steamed bread is a Sally Lunn recipe--and you'll find many Sally Lunn breads online. My favorite one is an English Toasting bread. You will have to toast whatever bread you make in a pressure cooker or steamer as it is very moist. No crunch! Here's a great English Toasting bread recipe from King Arthur Flour company that I have used before as a steamed bread (and later toasted before eating): English Muffin Toasting Bread: King Arthur Flour
