Pur Watermaker -- parts only
Hi,
I have a PUR PowerSurvivor 35 water maker, which I got with Chiara Stella when I bought her. Having inspected the unit, I find that:
* The drive housing connector has corroded badly, two of the bolt-holes are broken (where the drive connects to the pump).
* The pump front collar is broken, where the membrane housing screws into place.
* The fresh water outlet 3 way valve is broken (crushed into several pieces) and unusable.
It would do for someone who had a similar unit and wanted parts. The pump front, piston housing and drive itself are all working, and there is a pre-filter with a couple of spare membranes and other parts from a service kit. Alternatively you could attempt to purchase parts for the unit from Katadyn or off E-Bay -- Pur no longer exists and has been bought out by Katadyn.
