I am downsizing to a Corsair trimaran because I have not found the right guy with whom to sail my beloved Seawind 1000. Am thinking of shipping it to Australia where these wonderful catamarans are better known. The numbers seem to work out for selling in Australia even using an expensive yacht transport company. Is this crazy? Am also wondering if any Australians might like to buy her in the US and sail her in the Florida Keys/Bahamas before I ship her to Australia as part of the deal. Are there Australian forums I could contact to let folks know this is a possibility?
