In the last four weeks I have seen a number of yachts anchored behind the breakwater in La Linea, one apparently longer-term.
The harbour is still very empty, say 30% of the places are taken. I recently enquired about a place for two months February and March 2011 for my 10.2m catamaran and was offered the normal winter price for a cat of 10 - 12m, no concessions at all being offered. This would mean that I would pay more than in Marina Bay, Gibraltar.
I will thus be moving the odd 20M to Sotogrande where I was not asked to pay the typical 50% multihull loading.
