t was about 900 miles off Mexico (SW of the tip of Baja as I recall) when they were rescued. Even though there were sailors ready, willing, and able to go fetch the boat, it was scuttled because of the hazard to navigation that it posed. Sad, sad situation. I do wonder what is different about the Apster?
