Lido Stove Spares
On to the next maintenance issue.
Honey Bee has a good Lido 4 burner gas Stove. It is 20 years old, but still in good condition and naturally fits neatly into its allocated space.
The burners are looking a bit used, so I thought to replace them. Talked to Bromic in Sydney, the original manufacturers, who had nothing to offer in the way of assistance, beyond referring me to Northern Gas & Electric in Melbourne. A phone call to them revealed that when Bromic stopped manufacturing this stove, NG&E bought all the spares. They still have a few of the burners, but not the full set and know of no other source.
Has anyone else managed to track down spares for this stove. I've seen lots on boats, so a lack of spares will be an issue for quite a few people.
