Can anyone help please,

The Furuno 1835 is a marvelous bit of kit but as with most manufacturers today it does not come with standard kit to link up to other inputs like GPS depth etc.

The manual is less than helpfull with regard to pin designationsof the two 7 pin NMEA 0183 plugs. If you want the machine to talk to other kit you have to purchase

additional cables at extortionate prices.

What use is an already expensive radar if it is unable to show heading or position relative to course.

Any help in giving me the information to enable me to rig my own leads would be appreciated.

Regards,

Thegeordiepaul.
