Default LED change out for Taylorbrite flourescents

Hello All,
ITs Raining so I am attempting things I know nothing of .
I am trying to install an LED strip on one side of a WHITE/RED double taylorbrite flourscent lite where the RED SIDE does not work .

I have a multi colored led strip that has white and red wires for the red color . MY problem is what wires do I hook up to the led strip from the RED side of the taylorbrite to get the strip to lite up WITH THE SWITCH keeping the white side flourescent on the switch also . Picture is attached .
THANKSFOR ANY HELP ......
PS - DOES anyone hear from JEANNE P ?? on Waterlemon

Default Taylor brite ps

I dont think the picture came thru - There is a BLUE , BLACK and WHITE coming from the switch .
And another question - the connections on either end of the flourescent- the black and whites - are they a HOT thats activated when you hit the switch .........
I should stick to cleaning the boat ......I am ok at that .
THANKS FOR THE HELP

Hi, yeah the pic isn't coming through. Um--see the little image of a mountain and sun--that's the attachment for pictures. You need to host them somewhere and link to them.

JeanneP is sometimes on here, too

I typically don't use the forum upload for images--but here's a link to information on how to do it:

Cruiser Log World Cruising & Sailing Forums - FAQ: Reading and Posting Messages

With the above instructions you should be able to upload a pic to a post.

I just link to pics hosted elsewhere, I have a pro account on Flickr and I also have some pics on my website. You can get a free account someplace like Flickr.com (owned by Yahoo) or there are others devoted to picture hosting just like Flickr. Upload your pic to that site (or the others) and then you can post a link here to the web address (that's the http...blah blah... part) of the photo um...umsing the little "picture" icon that has the mountain on it! If you right click on an image you'll see something that says "copy image address" and that's your http address bit that you can then paste anywhere you'd like.

I hope this information is helpful.

Default LED light change over

Re: LED change out for Taylorbrite flourescents
This time I think I uploaded the Picture correctly .
The fl tube I am trying to replace with the led strip is on the bottom o the picture . you can see the white wire that used to connect to the end of the tub. One of the two black wires at the bottom went to the other side of the fl tube. the blue wires are from the switch ...they all lead into that maze of capacitors or whatever they are on the right. So , how do I maintain the white fl lite and replace the red fl with the Led strip in the other picture .
the red green and blue wires denote the colors of the leds so I want to use the red and the white [ common / hot ? .
THanks for any help
TOM
