Default RayMarine Auto Pilot Amp load

Can, anyone tell me what the actual amp load is for an SPX -30 auto pilot system? I am looking for real world numbers.
Thanks
Bryan

Depends on how often it has to correct. Peak amps is irrelevant (except when sizing the fuse), and average can't be determined since it will be different every trip.

I understand that part. Am trying to figure out my solar array and from what I understand this can be substantial when figuring this part into it.

The Autohelm 2000 I have peaks at 5A and I've budgeted 80W a day, i.e. 10W x 8 hours. Have no idea how accurate that is since I haven't sailed it with that fitted yet. This might be a good ballpark anyhow, but more likely to be on the low side than high.

Remember that while you're manually handling or moored this isn't used, so the 80W may be assigned to something else at that time.
