What type of input is required ? have manual if necessary.

An important question will Raymarine carry spares?

Hello Jim,

My comment re Raymarine maybe valid - it is common knowledge that they are having difficulties. The Raymarine ST2000 model was the old Autohelm - this has been replaced by the ST2000 'Plus' (whatever 'plus' means) The 2000 is designed for boats up to 10,000 lb displacement - the Irwin 25's displacement of 5440 lb is therefore well within the range of the 2000 to handle it.

I suggest you chat to a Raymarine stockist to check on service, replacement parts etc.

A very good autopilot manufacturer is Simrad (now part of the Navico group) their Simrad Tillerpilot the TP10 is designed for sailboats up to 33ft and displacement of 8140 lb. Talk to Defender Industries.

Richard
