SF to Seattle fishing
Going to be sailing a boat up from San Francisco to Seattle at the end of May, 46’ Tartan. Depending on winds, probably going to be going a ways off shore. Curious about fishing during the transit. I have plenty of offshore fishing experience in Hawaii and Washington but have never fished Oregon or California. Fishing will be secondary to actually getting the boat home, but I was curious if anyone here has done this trip and drug a line behind their boat while doing so. If we stay close into shore well targeting the salmon runs depending on local fish and game rules and if we go further out we’ll have a separate setup for Pelagics. But if anyone has done this, I’d love to get your input, especially if you’ve had any success. Thanks
