Help with Message in a Bottle...

Hi,

As a birthday present, I would really like to drop a message in a bottle into the North Atlantic for a friend who lives in Holland. It doesn't need to reach Holland (that would be great, though). Since we are separated by the Atlantic Ocean (I live in Texas), I know that she would appreciate the creativity as a way to honor the ocean between us.

I'm not interested in pollution or plastic bottles - I'm a teacher and just did a whole unit on ocean garbage with my kiddos - but I don't feel one glass bottle will cause harm, and I know that she would really be touched. Is anyone sailing the Atlantic who would help me? I would mail you the bottle and only ask that it be dropped overboard somewhere where it's not likely to return to the US.
