Hi all, well this will throw the cat among the pigeons so to speak.
I have a Prout Snowgoose 37 moored in La Paz Baja California.
Bought her a couple of years ago with the intention of getting back to her in a couple of months, getting her seaworthy and sailing my life away. Well none of that happened;life got in the way.
So,what to do?
She was built in the early 80's and like Prout's at that time is a solid well built vessel, why I bought her.
I know all the issues with older cats but figured she is a stable boat for an older guy to enjoy.
They are a great combination of the best of keel boats and cats in my opinion.
She has been on the mooring for about six years now so needs a lot of TLC to get back to a good. I reckon $30K will do it pretty well.
LOTS of good gear on board. A new suit of never used sails. Heaps of solar cells.Water maker, radar, a lot of stuff.
American registration.
Plenty of pictures of her.
I am open to all sorts of offers, try me.
It is a shame she is not doing what she does.
I'm an Aussie living in Thailand these days so it is not all bad.
Liam_child2000@yahoo.com or cruiser log will get me.
