Hello,
My name is Ian. I love to make new friends and I am always up for a good laugh and new adventure. Most of the sailing I've done has been off the coast of California from San Diego to Santa Cruz. I have been working up in in Newport, RI on the refit of a 62' sailing yacht called 'Aurora' that just ended for the winter. I've made my way south to Florida and I am looking for a boat headed anywhere that needs crew. My main goal is to better my seamanship skills and continue learning what I can.

I am interested in sailing any where for any amount of time. Experience is what I am after not a pay check. I have valuable skills as an Emergency Medical Technician, and 8 years experience as a lifeguard/rescue boat operator, and I am SCUBA certified. I understand and can find my way around most systems. I can cook. I'm willing to make my way to the Bahamas, Caribbean, or West coast to find a boat.

Ian, did you find a boat to crew on or are you still looking? I am currently sailing in the Sea of
Cortez. My name is Crit and I have a 40 ft sailboat that I currently sail solo in. I am thinking about
finding a crew with similar sailing desires and someone to help out. It is a lot of work by one's self.

My plan is to set sail from Madagascar to mozambique -S-Afrika Cape Town.
In Januar 2014 I wil sail to Brazil,Carieb, Canarien islands
