Dates? You're leaving it a bit late in the season. Most boats in the South Pacific have congregated around Fiji, southern Tonga, New Caledonia, or Vanuatu by now, awaiting weather windows for the trip south before the cyclone season starts.
If a boat was leaving Hawaii this year headed for the South Pacific they would need to sail pretty quickly to get in and out before the cyclone season started.
It's an El Nino year. I'll leave you to research what that might mean for yourself, but it may be a bit breezy down here.
