Dear all!
Hello! After living in Scotland for the last few years studying and making stringed musical instruments, I am now in the process of undertaking the land and sea voyage from Scotland to Australia, settling in Tasmania, with my partner Scout.
We are currently living in Mongolia and are now searching for potential passage from Indonesia to Darwin, or thereabouts, in October or November...at the change of the season and before the cyclones...
Our experience varies from motor cruisers, dinghies and some yachts, but we are keen to learn and experience all the required skills for long distance passage. We have some experience in navigation and rope work and are skilled cooks but better musicians...playing concertina, flutes and ukulele...with a range of songs and tunes from Scotland, Ireland and England...
Please let us know the feasability of our plans. Do you have room to take us? Can you offer any suggestions? What would be the most likely ports to leave from?
Thank you very much!
All the best,
Joey and Scout. xxx
