Smile Looking to crew on a Sailing adventure

My name is Paul Stephens and I am extremely interested in getting on board a Sailing voyage. I'm 22 years old from Virginia, USA. Have been traveling around Australia, Thailand and Peru for the past three years. I have been in Ft. Lauderdale for the past three weeks trying to get day work on large Yachts and am having minimal success. I have STCW and ENG Certifications which I know are only needed for paid positions. The Course for the STCW has given me a lot of information and I feel that I could be a great asset to and adventure. I have also been medially cleared to work on ships in International Waters. Don't have much fo a sailing background but have a very hard work ethic. Does anyone know of boat leaving soon or where else I can go and try to find voyage?

Hi, Paul,

April in Ft. Lauderdale might find a cruising yacht heading for Europe, but not terribly likely. Did you read the introduction to this forum? It gives a link to finding where cruising yachts are at different times of the year. Where the yachts are

An interesting on line crewing mag. is The Triton, dedicated to paid crew, usually motor yachts, but centered in the Ft. Lauderdale area so a help. THE TRITON

While in Ft. Lauderdale, check out Marina Bay

Good luck.
J
