A topic of interest to all.

http://www.cruiserlog.com/forums/ind...showtopic=3245 (the illegal practice)

Please do NOT place ads for "sailing holidays" here - they will be removed. Use commercial publications for these ads. THIS board is for genuine crew and NOT to look for crew who are willing to pay for the experience of working on a yacht - a "sailing holiday". Anything more than an equal share of food/drink expenses and individual fees and expenses is not accepted here. NO daily/weekly onboard charge. Remember, genuine crew are assisting you, or along for your company.

If your post is deleted please recheck the guidelines at the top of this page and repost giving ALL details as requested. (Copy/paste the "guidelines" into your post and fill in the details)

Admin (please excuse all the "shouting").

Hi all,

Sorry skippers and boat owners.

You need us, not the other way around!

I take a month or two away from my job, help you make a passage and you want me to pay for food costs?

Blah,blah,blah.

For those who own sailboats like I do and do not know the meaning of: BOAT, B for bring,O for out, A for another, and T for thousand $, and treat your crew right.

I hope nobody ever pays to do the work on any boat.

CW
