Default An Unusual Pet Aboard

Perusing this cruisers' blog Bettie del Mar I found the most unlikely boat pet. A hedgehog. Really. His name is Sid Vicious

We had a chipmunk get aboard in North Carolina on my folks boat. He stayed there all summer and we worried he chew up things but he did not. We fed him and he was a good little pet. Lucky for us he abandoned ship before we kids had the chance to beg Dad to let us take him home when the summer was over. We were anchored and he stayed but once we came into a dock, he was off the boat in a flash. No loyalty.
