The main problem with wind generator noise isn't the generator itself it's just the blades.... it only takes a few ounces out of balance to cause significant turbulance at high speeds, which is where the noise comes from. You can buy lead take for almost nothing at some hardware stores, if you balance the blades with lead tape, so that they are pretty well perfectly in balance it will go a long way to silencing your wind geny.
