Thanks for sharing! I sailed both types of main. Furling main tends to get stuck in the mast when you unwind it. In this case you need to go to the mast and pull the main out with your hands....

Thanks for your reply. I sailed several boats of different sizes up to 43'. For me 34 - 36 ' is a reasonable comprise: still easy to singlehand and already big enough for a long cruise supplies...
