On the assumption from the topic title that you intend staying on board for the winter in either of these marinas , then on price Kalamata is only 2/3rds of what Levkas charges. Kalamata has better nightlife and local restaurants. Levkas has easier proximity to the mainland.

Its warmer in Tunisia - Turkey less restrictions.

Remember depending on what flag you carry, may determine length of stay etc..

Many thanks for info. We have just spent 2 winters in Turkey and feel it is time to move on. We are not ready for Tunisia yett as we are from South Africa. We sail under a Brit flag as I am British. Had heard Kalamata is nice but have been warned of "funny seas" off the Peloponnese. We sail a 34' motorboat.
