Default Ice Maiden is Home at last

I have arrived back home after many a long voyage of fair winds and good seas.
Sadly, Ice Maiden will be coming out of the water for a major refit and then into long-term storage. Due to my health issues I will not be undertaking the refit.
The good news is that I am presently undertaking a feasibility study of a new vessel. This will be a ketch rigged double-ender to be built in steel.

Welcome back. Sorry to hear about the health issues. Where have you been?
Best wishes.

Where have I been? As it was said in the "The Lord of the Rings", there and back again. Or as the Irish would say, "Its along way from there to here.
Ice Maiden has been out around the Pacific, South America and occasionally poked its bow into the Atlantic. Mainly in the area of Terra del Fuego.
In the time I have been away the original tripod mast has worked perfectly. It provided a stable mount for the radar and all communication systems.
The new vessel/home already has a name, it will be called Snow Maiden.
