Bad Quality Dinghy
Purchased a brand new Caribe 10 ft Light Dinghy in St Thomas. Bought it brand new.
The first Dinghy was delivered defective. All 3 chambers lost air. It deflated. Store took it back to fix or exchange. About 3 months of waiting, they provided what they claimed was a new Dinghy.
After getting the "new dinghy" we noticed it was taking water. Upon inspection, we found a hairline crack in the bottom (no scratches from damage). We also noticed there was an area that had been repaired prior to us getting the supposedly new boat.
Long story short. Since I repaired it because we had to continue using it. They will not cover w warranty. Our repaired did not last because the Dinghy was not glued right and has bubble in bottom. It has nor been professionally repaired and we had ro pay for it.
So two Dinghy two defective boats.
Beware of purchasing Caribe. The quality is inferior. There are other good options out there.
If anyone wants to view pictures, receipts or conversations with manufacturer we are happy to share privately.
