Default How do you decide where to go?

Hi all, I was wondering how you all research destinations and whether you use any tools?

How do you assess safety/amenities and what do you look out for?

A good place to start is through buying Jimmy Cornell's books. I have been carrying these as valuable references for many years. World Cruising Routes and World Cruising Destinations contain a whole lot of pertinent information which is vital to planning a successful voyage...and it gives valuable insight into places to go and, more importantly, when to go for the easiest possible passage weather and conditions.

Usually it is a simple research, nothing more. Say, when I planned to visit Spain 2 years ago long before the story with Covid I searched everything that Google offered me to read
