Alright, I've secured a new vessel. Meet the William Bligh, a 26' East Wind Paceship. I'll be sailing her down from New England in December, burrrrr. The main stops are Maine to Boston, Boston to Huntington, NY; Huntington to NYC, NYC to Philadelphia (to see my mom and nephew), then it's down to Hampton, Virginia for the Winters Sailmakers Christmas party, before taking the ICW down to South Carolina, then off shore to southern Florida. I'm spending a month in the Keys, before sailing either to Panama and back to California or up to Destin Beach, New Orleans, and finally up the Mississippi to Memphis. My father, who is terminally ill, may be moved to a hospice in Memphis, and that's the only reason I'd move the boat there instead of doing the canal-shot.
