Been a while since our last post. Poor Mico's been sitting all alone while we've been replenishing the cruising fund - much of it involving me working overseas for the last 6 months.

To make amends we've bought our lil boat some early Christmas presents which should arrive this week. A new Ray Marine Grand Prix Auto Helm and a new Traveller set up across the coach roof after moving it from the cockpit. A quick slip next month, new stuffing box, anti foul and a few replacement thruhull fittings and she'll be ready for her next adventure.

Contemplating the Louisiades Rally again in September but I'm afraid I'll be on my own due to the good lady's work commitments. So - take a look at the crew wanted section and if you have a month free from the 17th Sept drop me a line. One, two or 3 crew - it will be a cruisie time diving and hanging out the locals with a return to Cairns.

Fair winds

Mico

Ah, mico, how much we enjoyed the Louisiades! Enjoy. And here's an old, old Cruising Guide to PNG that I wrote, with appropriate disclaimers, quite some time ago. I think that it is still useful. One of our most delightful stays was at Hummock Island, and I only wish that I could reproduce the little chartlet helping one into the anchorage. That and Bagaman Island (wonderful, but also more visited by boats) made it very difficult for us to leave PNG.

Hi mico,

I was on the rally with you last year... Anthony on Drews boat Gambori.

I am keen to do the rally again this year and am looking at crewing on a boat already, havent spoken to the skip yet just email. If it doesnt work out with that boat I would be interested in joining you if that suits.

Your misses must be pretty happy you moved the traveller.

Anthony.
