Newport to Trinidad
Hi to all!
New to the site, this is my first post. I'm an european sailor and I've just bought a sailing yacht (Hylas54) actually lying in Newport RI.
I would like to sail her to Trinidad at the end of April via Bermuda and BVI. It seems to be a good period for that trip. Any opinion?
I will leave the boat there till next July/August. I'm considering Trinidad due to it's position south of hurricane belt. It should be also safer than Venezuela.
Any racomandation on Trinidad boatyards? I am thinking at Powerboat boatyard.
