Vandal. The only information I can offer is nearly 5 years old. I was hauled out at Manoel Island Yacht Yard in Malta. I was only scrubbing and anti fouling but a neighbouring German boat (steel Ketch) also in the yard, was having extensive repairs after a collision. Stainless rails and a couple of hull plates replaced. The workmanship was of a very high standard I have to say. The owners were very pleased with the result.
You may already have the equipment to install, if not be aware prices in Malta are not low for anything, let alone yacht gear. I hear that Manoel Island Yacht Yard has just recently changed ownership, which hopefully will not effect the quality of workmanship. A friendly, helpful place though, at least when I was there.
I can't speak for Gibraltar. The best yard there, Sheppards has gone, swallowed by developers and turned into a rich peoples domain. Big concrete boxes stacked up one on the other..
There are still a couple of other Gibraltar marinas there which may offer something.
Other than that, have you thought about Cueta the Spanish possession just across the Strait from Gib? I hear prices for most things over there are much lower than Gibraltar and other places in the Med. Regards Saxon.
