Hi. I've decided to do the trip myself with crew. I will be leaving 9/9 or shortly thereafter from southern New England (Newport/Block Island vicinity). I have done this trip twice before, using the ICW between Norfolk and Cape Fear or Fernandina Beach, depending on the weather. I think I am all set for crew, but I may be looking for someone for the first part of the trip, outside from NYC to Cape May, up Delaware Bay, across the C & D canal and midway down the Chesapeake. I think two people is sufficient. I will stop at Barnegat or Atlantic City if necessary - I don't want to do the trip off the Jersey Shore in bad weather or waves over 4 ft. Let me know if you're still interested and we can discuss further.
