Hello! I'm an inexperienced sailor, but I've just purchased a 32' sailboat for myself. I'm looking for someone to help me sail her from Texas to Saint Augustine, Florida. I'm eager to learn about my boat and about the craft of sailing, and happy to compensate the right person.

I am interested in helping you. The time frame I have is between December and March, December would be best. I would like to know more about the equipment you have on board, most importantly safety gear such as EPIRB, lifeboat, radio, jackets, &c. No less important the other systems such as electrical and sail inventory. Please contact me on bearpalomo at the yahoo(not putting email address in format as according to the moderators, it will be picked up by bots) Cheers!

Default captain/instructor needed?

Hi,
I hold a USCG 50T Master with Sail endorsement, ASA instructor and current TWIC, ISAF SaS, STCW, CPR, First Aid/AED and drug screen credentials.
I am also a certified SCUBA diver and private pilot.

My experience ranges from Laser Pico dingy to 12M AC Grand Prix yachts, one designs and displacement cruisers. I am very familiar with east coast waters and routes from MA to FL (outside and ICW) as well as the Bahamas and the Caribbean.
I specialize in helping new owners learn to sail their boat and I will assume any role that you wish.
Excellent mechanical/electrical skills.

I am located in NY/NJ but will travel!
Available for crew and deliveries.
Please reply directly to the email below if your need still exists and you want a professional.
Cheers,
