Many people (me included) do not properly read (if at all) the "terms" to which we agree to when registering for membership on boards such as this. For this reason, I am posting a copy of those "terms" for this forum here for us all to read and refer to at our leisure.

Forum Terms, Rules and Guidelines

Please take a moment to review these rules detailed below. If you agree with them and wish to proceed with the registration, simply click the "Register" button below. To cancel this registration, simply hit the 'back' button on your browser.

NB. A validation email will be sent to the (valid) email address that you provide to register with in order to complete the registration process, ensuring that you are a "real person" and not a spamming bot. (Your email address remains encrypted within the system and will NEVER be given/sold to ANYONE - only your IP address is logged in the system). Also check your "Bulk" or "Spam" folder for this email. This validation must be done within 24 hours as the "pending" registration is then deleted and registration must be redone.

Registration problems: Some free webmail providers are totally banned from this board (i.e. @mail.ru, @myway.com, & a few others) because of the vast number of spammers and scammers that these servers appear happy to accommodate. If you have a problem with registration then please use another (valid) email or webmail address such as @yahoo.com, @gmail.com, etc. - (NOT Hotmail)

General: Please remember that Cruiser Log is not responsible for any messages posted by members. We do not vouch for, or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message.

Acceptance of contributions is at the sole descretion of Cruiser Log and the Administration is not responsible for any loss of contributed data for any reason whatsoever.

The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this Cruiser Log bulletin board. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact a moderator immediately by PM (personal message) or email the Administrator. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.

By posting on these forum boards and Wiki, you agree to allow Cruiser Log to "publish" your contributions as posted within the forums or Wiki, as an integral part of the forum/Wiki format, at the total discretion of the administrators of Cruiser Log. You hereby accept that the posted messages remain the copyright of the author (you), who hereby grants the Cruiser Log Forum/Wiki the right to publish your contributions, credited to your registered username, indefinitely. Once a username has been used to author a post that username remains as the author and cannot be deleted.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this bulletin board or Wiki to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. You further agree to keep posts and replies on a friendly basis and not to incite "flaming".

You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by this bulletin board.

You agree not to post any commercial message or post messages with the express intention of steering members/visitors to another website, whether you have an interest in that website or not.

No commercial messages (or commercial links) are allowed in member "signatures". Acceptance of all remote links is at the sole descretion of the administrators.
