Greetings to all from the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I've just returned from the Middle East and it's now time to begin my sailing adventure. I've lived aboard since 2000 but sailing has been done less frequently than I would have wanted. Now, however, the adventure begins. Plans are to "splash" sv Mundial this Wednesday, make some adjustments and minor repairs and then begin some shake-down cruises. When everything is in order I'll head south through the ICW to Florida. Once there I plan to spend some time in the Bahamas followed by a trip to the Dominican and possibly Puerto Rico. I'll take the passage to Panama and spend whatever time is necessary to reserve my place for a canal trip. Once on the other side I suspect I'll do whatever it takes to head to California or Northern Mexico. That's as far as I can think these days -
Will accept any and all bits of information about this excursion.
Fair winds to all,
Capt Fridge
