Default Hello - formosa 41

i believe havent posted in this forum before--i am a female, slightly older, sailing a formosa 41 with occasional crew and a boat kat from san diego to wherever i want to sail. currently io am in mazatlan, an dplan to head south sometime in spring, aiming at march. i hope to find my way thru the canal and into caribean waters.... lazily.

looking back i see a new member post i made in 2009---that is a few days ago and i am now returning and actively cruising...

Welcome back.

So how's the cruising been between 09 and now? Did you spend much time in the Sea? As a matter of fact..sitting out hurricane season? Mazatlan is really, really hot right now isn't it?

Fair winds,

is really hot here, yes... we are currently awaiting a tropical storm hit--in places further south folks are awaiting a h4 cane hit-- we are positioned well to hopefully avoid much damage. 2009-2010 i sailed gulf of mexico--wa sfun- we were in a sloop , 37 seidelmann... i prefer my ketch-- sturdier, so far. we see what happens in this bunch of storms.

after these storms i should be able to tolerate the air better-- wont be as HOT and i can finish some work i need to gwet done before my next trek--i am aiming southward after the electrical work i need.

Hey Zee Hag,

Just get here... We will see you when you make the Caribbean. We are celebrating Capt. "Fatty" Goodlander's birthday at Jack's Bight on St. Thomas this Sunday!
