Hello From A Seabitten Diveinstructor

Hey everyone..

I am Anneke from Belgium. I am 28 years old and Lived and worked abroad for the last 7 years mainly in Thailand and Egypt.

I am now trying to grow up and moved back to Belgium 4 months ago..

I was raised with a sailingboat on the lakes in the Netherlands. But my Dad was only good in giving orders not so much on teaching. So I have no idea what I am able to do and why I do things. But I would like to believe that I feel what needs to be done.. However I would like some knowledge to go with that feeling.

I do have my sealegs after living on a yacht for two years diving off the offshore reefs in the Red Sea.. And I am missing it soooo much.

So before settling back in the European lifestile I would like to make one last trip.

Preferably around the Med but am open for suggestions. Should be ready to leave the end of August.

I suggest that you post an ad on the crewfinder section of the Cruiserlog (if you haven't done so already). Let us know what happens with your "new" sailing life

I have a friend who had a similar experience to you--much sailing and much getting ordered about by Dad as a child--but she doesn't remember how to do much of anything! She's learning anew.
