Hitchiking Aboard

Hello all,

I represent 3 students (myself included) looking to have a spring break adventure from March 9th to the 15 somewhere in the carribbean. We've tried everything, but want to board a yacht headed to an outlying island of the owner's choosing (ideally cuba). Can this be done? If so, How?

We are talking about a sailing vessel here, not an aircraft. With a window of six days, i.e. three days out and three days back, assuming you don't stop more than an hour or two at your destination, then you will not get very far at all.

Sorry to disappoint you but I can't see anyone taking along three students for six days and especially not for a quick there-and-back jaunt to Cuba, an island not often visited by cruisers and fraught with administrative potholes.

Nausika! What happened to the wine and cheese cruises you were going to organise? We've already bought our cracker bickies and packed the crystal

The prawn, wine and cheese cruises are still on. I just don't see why we should restrict ourselves to just six days of enjoyment!

Be careful with the crystal if it gets a bit lumpy out there. Wouldn't want to see it getting broken.
