Well I used to work in London anyway.

I'm now on the East Coast of England in a place called Great Yarmouth.

The port used to be considered the Herring capital of the county, the Country even.

Alas all that is gone now :-(

Anyway Hi everyone.

Welcome aboard.

Do you sail now? Or cruise? Or, were you once a cruiser?

Please enjoy the forums,

Fair winds,

How dare you say that,

It's just a vicious rumour

I'm not sailing at the moment but I am turning my head in that direction again.

I gave up some years ago, although in truth I was never the old salty dog that I would like to have been.

My son who is just turned 25 has given me a nudge so who know's, maybe.............

Just an update, my Son and I have bought a boat. (guess who paid)

A 25ft Columbia Coronado

I'll post up a picture when it's scrubbed up a bit.

The adventure continues

Welcome on board,

Being a father myself, go for it. The days are measured once. We are up North of you in Edinburgh, though maybe moving to the Glasgow area. You take care and keep going.

Michael

on the North coast, not really far from you.

And always understood Peterhead to be the herring capital of the universe.

Welcome.

Just an update.
The Columbia didn't last long before it was sold and we moved on to a Seadog 30.
A nice little boat but will also be sold this summer all being well.
I have decided that if I don't make a move now I never will, so the house has gone on the market and I'm turning my attention to finding a boat to go and sail the seven seas on.

Good luck with it! Keep us updated with your progress. Plenty of good boats out there--take a look at the cruiserlog marketplace here, too.
