Hello,

I am new to the forum and look forward to getting knowledge and advice from all the salty dogs on this site. My fiance and I are seriously considering heading down to Mexico after we get married and spending some time learning to sail on my father's 27' Cheoy Lee that we may buy from him. A foreseeable problem, though, is that we have two cats. Is the idea of having a cat(s) on a boat totally crazy and/or cruel?

Thanks!

Kelly

I know several people that have cats with them on thier boats. They seem to be a great addition to the crew. Good Luck and Welcome...Much experience and knowlege is contained in this forum, eat it up...

Welcome aboard Kelly. Go sailing with your cats but just make sure they cannot fall overboard.
