Smile New to the site and looking for ICW advice

Hello to all Cruisers!

I'm new to the Cruiser Log..but not to boating. I've just retired and plan on taking a few weeks with my wife and piloting our GB Eastbay from Sarasota to our home in CT. We've never done the ICW before and are looking for good daily leg suggestions. We currently are planning on Sarasota to Ft Myers. Then a long day through the canal to Stuart. The Cocoa Beach, New Smyrna, St Agustine and Fernandina. We're looking for suggestions after that all the way up to CT. We usually like to run for 5 or 6 hours a day and keep it under 100ish miles.

All suggestions are welcome.

Hi, I only know a little about parts of the ICW, but I expect some others here will be able to assist. Please look at the top of the page and 'click' on the World Cruising and Sailing Wiki, click USA, then look for the search field in the left margin. Type in Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway and there will be a good deal of information which may be of assistance.

Meanwhile welcome to CL and we hope to hear more about your forthcoming trip.
