Does anyone have any suggestions for a New Zealand cruising guide book or web site? I'm particularly after one that will cover the South Island ports and anchorages, at least as far south as Lyttelton / Christchurch.

There is a crusing guide for the Cook/Stephens area available at the chandlery in Wellington - Barton's Marine. It's quite thorough. I'm not aware of anything like that covering Fiordland, Dunedin/Lyttleton though.

There is a cruising guide for banks peninsula (Christchurch Lyttelton, Akaora etc) that is out of print but you could contact Naval Point YC as i think they have copies.
