Suggestions For Ports In Europe For Crewing Opportunities Across The Atlantic

Hi,

I'm on the lookout for crewing opportunities to cross the Atlantic and am looking for suggestions of ports in Spain/Portugal/Canary Islands etc. where boats would embark for for this sort of voyage.

Does anyone have any suggestions on which ports/marinas would be good ones to visit, or any other advice on how I might best find a ride?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Go Google the ARC run by World Cruising - it departs Las Palmas Canaries mid November to St Lucia mid December. They have a web site with crew lists.

Or you could lob into Las Palmas and walk the jetties asking around - lots do take crew in last weeks as they get let down by others.
