Default Boat Wanted - West Australia to South Australia

Hi everyone, I am a 28 year old Portuguese expat working in Singapore as a Management Consultant. I'm planning to travel to Australia this Christmas for around 2 weeks. I want to go to Perth first, so I can take the Skydiving course and then I would love to sail to South Australia with a cool skipper. I have some sail experience back in Portugal, but I'm no expert. Of course I will be paying for all my expenses and I will adapt to other plans if necessary. Please let me know if anyone is available to embark this adventure together.

Not much to see along there, and most likely the only people going that way would be crazy round-the-worlders who tend to not stop very often. Still, you might find someone doing a delivery.

Good luck finding a ride!

There is an established route along the southern coast for boats circumnavigating Oz. I would Google sailing clubs in Perth, Freemantle and Albany (All in Western Australia) and ask them to pin a notice to their club boards. You might strike it lucky.
Cheers.

Hi all and thanks for your quick replies.

I'm still considering if I should do the trip by sea or land, since it's my first time in Australia. Anyway I'm gonna follow your suggestions, thanks a lot.
