Hello all, Jon and I have just finished university in falmouth, the southwest UK in outdoor education. Both experience sailors, teaching dinghy sailing/windsurfing this season before looking to go travelling. The plan is to get to India but we would much preferably do it by sailing there! Currently enquiring into a trip heading west from the UK to south america, up thru the caribbean and thru the panama canal, heading to australia where we would like to back pack through asia and indonesia, thailand and eventually to india! Both have yachting experience, day skipper theory and practical qualifications gained along with vhf and diesel engine repair. By the end of summer will have completed a milage building trip to ireland or the scillies, and completed our yacht master offshore theory. If anyone knows of anything heading west from the UK towards the end of summer, around october time let us know!! we want to get sailing asap
