Hi Ken, did you buy your battenless sails new? If so, was there an appreciable difference in price in comparisson to those with battens? And....Is your mainsheet attached to the aft end of your boom...

Just to broaden the scope of the topic, is there an advantage to setting a loose-footed mainsail over a hanked foot? And is such an arrangement enhanced or handicapped with a battened main?
