I was lucky enough to have a similar experience in Moorea, French Polynesia in 2002. In order to attract that large quantity of sharks a diver fed the sharks with fish and chummed the water. He was wearing an armoured suit and since I was the last diver to go down (my dive buddy had an ear problem) I was the one closest to him but without any armour (3 meters), amazing experience. but unfortunately I used back then a cheap disposable underwater camera so please excuse me for the lousy quality of the photo.
"The sail, the play of its pulse so like our own lives: so thin and yet
so full of life, so noiseless when it labors hardest, so noisy and
impatient when least effective."
-Henry David Thoreau
