Some good instructional videos made by a fellow sailor (good sailor) from Portugal. There is much to learn.

Thanks to Giu.

These are great instructional videos. Kept simple but still covering important ground they will help you get the most out of your sailing. They are especially good for the cruiser who, dare I say it, perhaps does not give enough attention to tweaking the sails to get that little extra out of the wind or make life on board more comfortable.

WATCH AND LEARN!

Thanks for the Kudos Ron. However, it is not the administrators but the CruiserLog community in general that make this site what it is by their contributions and participation. We have a great, helpful and friendly, VERY international community!

We will certainly give some thought to your suggestion.

Enjoy!

regis, Are you familiar with cut or copy and paste technique using Windows on your computer? Simply highlight the www. (through the end of the website address) =en of the desired video / right click your mouse to expose the menu / left click on COPY / then highlight the address in your browser's address line / right click on the highlighted area to expose the menu / left click on PASTE to insert the desired video website address / hit the ENTER key to activate. The video should appear.

This new forum software does not seem to allow YouTube videos to be embedded. Perhaps one of the Admins can re-code all these videos correctly to embed correctly in this software?

While not strictly sailing instructional videos, here are a couple of videos I made for people who were asking me how to fish from a sailboat:

Setup for fishing from a sailboat on passage

How to fillet a yellowfin tuna
