Would love to hear from fellow motorsailer owners out there! We have a 30' Marcon Claymore Motorsailer, it's an oldie (1970) that we are currently restoring. Any east coast cruisers around?

This boat is M/S "Claymore" http://www.eastcoasthorizon.com/Claymore/M...rcon_index.html

based out of Scotland. She would have a sail area of 460 sq.ft. as all Claymore's of this rig type have. I am guessing "Claymore" under motor is about 10 knots; under sail is probably more 'responsive' from our Claymore (an unusual junk rig) so is perhaps 6-7 knots. It's a lovely, roomy, comfortable and very seaworthy vessel.
