just a quick note to enquire whether anyone is heading over to Vigo for the Platu Class World Championships?

I hope to be going. And hope to turn in a performance that makes my mentors proud.

Also an opportunity to say that this forum is indeed a wonderful place where even the most rank landlubber is encouraged to stop by, ask even the most simplest questions and in the process benefit from the considerable knowledge of more experienced seafarers. All this in a true community spirit.
